War3 FT Server Fixed

Well I got the War3 Server fixed with the xp problem. The problem where the map changes were taking 30 seconds and people were timing out during it should be fixed. The database was saved and all your XP is there. The map changes are real quick now we will add some more maps soon.

I hope people are coming here to check us out from the BF 2 server as well. It seems to be running great and people are coming back and becoming regulars. If this keeps up I will add more slots to this server.

I would just like to let people who play in any of our servers know that they are welcome to come join us in our Ventrilo server. You can connect to it right here at the website on the left side. Just click on the "Connect Now" button.

The Playhouse is once again with a new set of server configurations. Here is the latest server list for the Playhouse Servers.

Daver's War3 Playhouse     75.27.45.7:27016
Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne server, 14 Player with saved XP. The War3 FT mod lets players earn skills for a race that they can choose. There are 9 different races to choose from. After you choose your race you earn XP but doing the map objective and killing the enemy. Then you can choose skills that allow them to do many abilities and the higher your XP, the greater your skill level, up to level 10. All this XP is saved so when you come back to play again your skills are there for you. We run 6 Bots on this server but they are replace as each new human player joins. This is done so 1 player can go into the server and enjoy playing against some challenging bots.

Daver's Playhouse BF2 Deathmatch With FLAGS     8.2.0.233:27015
Counter Strike 1.6 12 Player with Battlefield 2 mod with Flags, is a capture the flag game with deathmatch mod also running so you never have to wait to play, you are respawned after each death. When one team capture all 5 plags they are the winner, or the team to reach 50 points first would also win. There is also a rank system where you level up and earn badges that give you skills, that give you an advantage. These are saved so you can use them when you come back to play again. We run 6 Bots on this server but they are replace as each new human player joins. This is done so 1 player can go into the server and enjoy playing against some challenging bots.

Counter Strike Source 11 Player with the Gun Game mod. In Gun Game everyone starts out with the Glock and after you kill someone you move up to the next weapon. After each time you kill someone with your current weapon you advace to the next level. If during the round you knife a player you also move up a level and he moves down from his level. The person to knife a player at the last level is the winner.   We run 6 Bots on this server but they are replace as each new human player joins. This is done so 1 player can go into the server and enjoy playing against some challenging bots.

Recuritment For The Beer Clan

What we are looking for is anyone that is in The Beer or Celtic clan,(or anyone who wants to join either team) to join our ladder league. I want to go back to playing 5 V 5 but I dont have a big enough team for that. I want to get our 2 clans know through out the world of counter strike. So if your on either team or would like to join, pm Kcurly and I will give you directions on where you need to go to sign up.

War3 Server Fixed

Ok, The War3 Ft server is back up and seems to be running fine again. The problem with the XP not saving was due to a bug with steam I think. It would display "steam_id_pending" in the server console or if you typed status to view anyones steam id. This was due to the server not being able to connect to the steam authentication servers. I searched for days and then did a server files update and then after restarting the server box, the damn thing started working again. Oh well, hopefully it stays up because it was starting to build popularity again slightly.

War 3 Server is Back

I have reloaded the War3 FT server and it is running great. I personally went in and checked it out. Everything seems to working but I didnot check the UAIO menu system or biocom because I was just playin bots. The XP is zero but everyone should hve Admin to give away XP so feel free to give XP away. I hope you all enjoy and check out the monitor to see when people are joining and jump in and give them XP or a real player to play against.

NEW Server Information

We are making more changes and here is what is happening. We have a new CS Source server and a new ventrilo voice server. We are going back to Gameservers to save some $$$ and try to get all servers back to one company. They were good for us until we had some War3 problems but all in all they were OK.

Our CS Source server is a 15 player public server that will hostb the Gun Game Mod. We will also use this for our Source matches.

First Beer Clan Meeting in Chicago, IL

Well the Date is set for the first ever Beer Clan Meeting. It will be April 25-27 in Orland Park, Il about 25 miles southwest of Chicago, Il. All clan members are welcome and some of the Members who are coming in are, Kcurly from California, Hawk from Michigan, Red Dog from North Carolina. Sgnobod lives here so I will assume he will attend as well. Those are the members who are confirmed and I would like to see a few more in driving distance possibly attend.

Some of the activities for the weekend might be an evening at the poolhall, paintball, golf, poker and possibly I'm trying to find a place for a Lan party. I could almost host it but only have 4 computers. We may even enjoy a Beer or two during the get together. I hear there is a drink where you mix Jagermiester with Monster, maybe we could try it as well.

It should be fun and if you would like to join us, post in the forums unders Hawks topic or come into Ventrilo and lst us know.

Servers are set for now

Ok, after some serious configing the servers seem to be setup and I hope people will be satisfied for awhile. As you can see on the right in the server monitors, we have Daver's War3 Playhouse, Daver's Playhouse Source and Daver's Playhouse which is a 16 player public server that is considered a 1000 tic, 500 fps server, that is very fast for a public server. You won't see much better ping times but the registartion should be better if your computer on your end can handle all the data. Hope see the servers filling up so we need to add more slots like when the War3 server first started. People used to have to wait to get in, ahhh those were the days...

Server News

There is breaking news at the Playhouse. The servers are making changes once again. Here are the updates on whats happening.

We will have a 14 player public server running CS 1.6 and I will see about getting stats for all you stat whores who want to know if they are on top.

The Beer Clan will have a 12 player private server that they can switch between CS 1.6 & C Source. It’s a cool feature that we just login to a control panel and switch the server to a different set of files and wham! New server mod is configed.

Daver's is also going to run a War3 server just like the old days when we started about 5 years ago. The server monitors will be adjusted very soon so you can see who is playing and in what server.

If you were wondering where the Ventrilo server went or can’t connect to it. The problem is that we upgraded to the new Ventrilo update and if you don’t upgrade your files you can’t connect to an updated server. Just go to www.Ventrilo.com and download the update. They say to delete all of the old vent program before you install the new one.

That’s All for now, the Playhouse is going to try to build itself back up and we are hoping on our strong clan members and the Community to make that happen. We are looking for some new admin to help us run our server and join us in our Ladder Matches in both the OGL & TWL Ladders.
